Xbox 360 update error internet problems

Sometimes Xbox 360’s will get stuck on a failed update screen.  If your xbox 360 shows a progress bar and then a long error code, your xbox will need the old update cleared and manually updated to the latest Microsoft dashboard.

This can happen due to a loss of power during an update, or a failed internet connection. Regular internet problems could be due to a bad network chip in your xbox or a faulty home router.
